Yes he left the pipes little longer for us, so we can cut them at the precieze length.

Thanks for the tip!

The pipes without the front flanges are for my car, they need to be adjusted because 12v headers are standing at another angle.

No its still huge if you compare to Raid.

From bottom to top its now 35,5 and from side to side its 37 so 1,5 cm smaller.

Its a lot thicker then original, so that helps a lot.

The Raid was a bit too small for the 916 interior IMHO. This one is perfect!

The inside is just an conic open air filter system.

It now sounds like this :)  :

Can only imagine how it will sound next week with the el frontpipes.

Yesterday changed the cooling liquid resservoir with my friend Chris with the Novitec Spider.

Not the nicest thing to do when engine is super hot...

Your interior is just the best looking one I've ever have seen in a 916! Just beautiful and so well done!
Exhaust must be awesome. I really like the sound in the 3 liter engines. It is just so much more brutal!

Waiting for the sound with EL. downpipe now!

Awesome photos as always.

The blue Spider looks great also!

P.S

anybody knows if the bmc cda will give this sound on a V6 TB?

Great photos and even better sound! :)

About the air filter, I was always a bit hesitant about performance filters because of notorious MAF (AFM) failures after such upgrades. There was a lot of talk that it has something to do with "wet" sort of filters (the oiled ones). As I see this is a dry one, right? I'll appreciate any first hand experience on this topic!

IIRC CDA is not dry, but I could be wrong. Had it almost 10 years ago :D 12V have different meters which are almost indestructible.

Thanos, yes it would make a nice sound on the TB as well, but I'm afraid there is no room to fit it :( 3.0 V6 has a different airbox
