    The transplant work has started. I have recycled the central locking offside solenoid and the offside door card from the GTV into the Cup. Next come the brakes- I am looking for a source of a pair of good quality cross drilled 330mm discs ( 147GTA type) for the front. Any suggestions? Clutch , flywheel and differential should be done the first week of January.... The project is under way.

    So I bought this Gtv for peanuts.... decided to really make it great.... It had a hideous Ferrari wannabe body kit on and generally in a bit of a neglected state.... decided to make it red and add Cup kit and 18" GT wheels..... Also busy reconditioning the engine, will be doing the upholstery etc.....

    The lights I ordered are pure white. I did this to match the Parrot. Even if the light is not spread evenly, this is no problem for me. The only thing I worry about is the fan switches and the buttons for the front and rear foglights. I have not looked at them closely yet. I will take some pictures of the end result soon. I thought about red, but then it does not match the radio. Black centre console, black alcantara tunnel and console surround, white backlights and the Parrot. This takes the 916 interior into 2014 ;-)

    The business end of Storm showing the 2 x 12" hotdogs and the poor cutout in the bumper. also shows my custom plates, larger at the rear, thiner at the front but both have the same design. For the curious, my initials and year of birth. Have put white LED's in the number plate lights, front clearence lights, inside reading lights and then blue LED's on the door puddle lights.
