Hello-hello! It's not so surprising as Alfa owners in general are very enthusiastic about their cars and 916 owners are among the hard-core part of that community! There was www.gtvv6.com dedicated to 916, it's offline for years now, but you can still check this one: http://nine1six.forumer.com Park your fine car into our garage!

My copy of "Alfa Romeo 916 GTV and Spider - The Complete Story" by Robert Foskett has arrived! It's a beautiful book about our loved 916s, something every GTV & Spider enthusiast should have on his bookshelf! I am surprised with the volume and quality of the content, it's very comprehensive and well presented! The book has over 200 pages with lot of photos, illustrations and useful info. I am honoured that my GTV project is also mentioned on the end of the book in "The Finishing Touch" section. The book is not expensive (29$) and you can find it on the Amazon. I am thankful to Mr. Robert Foskett for the effort to write this extensive guide and to put all that info about 916 in one place.

Nice upgrades! I guess you have cold winters there if you are going to put Spider to sleep? We are lucky here on Mediterranean, snow is more of a exception than something usual. I guess Charlee is again in his super-busy mode, I'd really love to see that photo on our front page! It's brilliant!

Costa Rica! Incredible! Welcome!

Welcome Valveri! It's great to hear that you have such a long GTV ownership experience! Join our discussions! P.S. It's nice to see P1 in stock condition but I don't like that aftermarket rear spoiler! That's Alfa purist in me speaking...

Ho-ho-ho! Great to have you here, you are on the right place! BTW I used to have 33 1,5 Quadrifoglio oro! What a great car that was! Park your GTV in our garage!

A new book about our cars is about to be released on late September, it's already available for pre-order: http://www.amazon.co.uk/Alfa-Romeo-916-GTV-Spider/dp/1847973965/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1344285710&sr=8-1 There is also some good information about the book on publisher's website at: http://www.crowood.com/details.asp?isbn=9781847973962&t=Alfa-Romeo-916-GTV-and-Spider Well, it's a great privilege to have a book about our beloved bellas!

Hi Robert and welcome! I was very sad when Keith decided to shut down GTVV6.com - it was a great community with a lot of useful info about 916. Since that time I was on lot of Alfa forums but there was a need for a dedicated one like Squadra 916 is now. I was really happy when Nikola (Charlee) called me and said: "I will do it! Would you be around to help?" At first it was only Croatian forum, but now it's a real international community and we all hope that in time it'll become the first stop for GTV and Spider owners. What I like the most about Squadra is a very user friendly forum software, simple and nice design and very usable garage module - a great way to present cars and all the modifications with comments. I am very thankful to you for writing this book. There is no doubt that car like this deserves a good book. It's not only a technical marvel of that time in that price segment but also a design icon with a perfect mix of driving joy and performance for many car enthusiasts. I think you overdelivered - you cover everything in the book, even many details and history background that are not usually found in this type of books. I hope you'll join our discussions here from time to time even if you are not a GTV owner any longer.

1600 EUR for a complete and drivable car? I can just conclude that prices in Bulgaria are crazy!
-
Hi Italos and welcome! Snow in Greece? Isn't that a bit unusual?
-
I hope you'll find your Busso soon enough! Good luck!
-
Lucky you! I had Superturismo wheels and they are superb and very light, but nightmare to clean!
