Blah! Even worse interior than the Old Ghibli... No offence, but I don't like japaneese cars interior design. And yes I knock everyone under one comb... Service on 4200 is not so expensive. Worse on the 3200 GTV is more or less sold already. A guy coming on wendesday/thursday to pick it up A GTV 3.2 is the last and best GTV. But still expensive to import to Norway. Actually same price as a 3200 that probably need some attention

No, it's too slow Plus I like the refine smoothness of a 24V Besides that I'm looking at Maserati, but thats a different leauge. There is a nice Ghibli II GT in Malmø. Maybe you can check it out for me? And please don't mention the 3200 and 4200 that starts to come down to realistic prices...

Nice! But I don't know if Spider is what I want. I have sent a mail to the seller (and owner) of this: http://suchen.mobile.de/auto-inserat/alfa-romeo-gtv-3-2-arese-v6-24v-lusso-pininfarina-schwalmtal/199575371.html?lang=de&pageNumber=1&action=topOfPage&__lp=2&scopeId=C&sortOption.sortBy=price.consumerGrossEuro&makeModelVariant1.makeId=900&makeModelVariant1.modelId=19&makeModelVariant1.searchInFreetext=false&makeModelVariant2.searchInFreetext=false&makeModelVariant3.searchInFreetext=false&minFirstRegistrationDate=2003-01-01&negativeFeatures=EXPORT Looks promising, but need to remove a few modifications in the interior and ask why the antenna is installed like that

Bump! Anyone having a 3.2 for sale?
-
Hehe Nice to have some company Thanks. Exhaust is a bit too noisy on long trips, but for trackdays it is awesome Hehe will tell more in the end of the month...

So... Winter is coming (as they say in Game of Thrones). I have not driven the GTV since the last trip to Ålesund in the start of October. It is time to jack it up on stands and do some more modifications and preperations for next season and trip to Nürburgring... I have ordered a set of new seals to the Brembo calipers. That means I will take them off and inspect them thoroughly. I suspect that the calipers are reason why my brake discs got warped. Next is modifications to make the car more useful on the track: New and lighter seats need to be fittedMore weight have to be removedIntercooler need to be modified. Like it is now are not good in long terms. (talking about the S shaped bend from turbo...More air and fuelWideband Lambda (old Lamda are not working properly anyway).Other things on the list: New rear brakepads (and maybe discs)Reverse light switch need to be replaced And on top of that I was stupid enough to list the car for sale and have got a few people interessed in the car. Hopefully no one buys it, but if they do I will need to put all the plans on the shelf and start again with a new GTV or something else exciting like a Maserati... Link to the ad: http://www.finn.no/finn/car/used/object?finnkode=53035750 There will be updates in this thread no matter what the outcome is

Thanks Marlon, but I would like it to be a PH2 3.0 at least. -Magnus

Last long trip with the GTV this season. just over 1200km. Still 17" on since last trackday, but the GTV handle so much better with 17" than 18"... A joy to drive On out way home yesterday. Driving up to "Trollstigen" one of many famous mountain passes in norway. A bit wet, but no tourist and a pleasure to feed the tiny turbo with some cold thin mountain air

Ah! What a shame! I am unfortunatley on work untill the 06th october. That means no Swedish Alfa meet for me this upcoming weekend

Calm down boys! Brera is GTV's successor, weither we like it or not. Just as unpractical, but better in all ways after all. More comfort and better chassis. Yes - more weight and therefore more body roll, but it is a good car. A proper GT in my opinion. GTV still drive exellent, and that is an incredible thing concidered that it is developed in the early 90's! Alfa Romeo GT is fantastic! Yes the Bertone GT from 2004-2010. I had one and still miss it! Great car in so many ways. I'm actually willing to sell my GTV for a GT 3,2! By the way... Opel is GM isn't it? Just to settle that one...
-
You misunderstood me, or I did not make myself clear. I meant GT as in Gran Turismo, wich this car is, absolutley... I know very well that this is a code 939, so called Brera.

I promised some pictures from the trip. Unfortunatley the weather was not on our side so that is one reason for a bit few pictures... Here is the wiew from the living room of my girlfriend's parents house: On our way home, one of many ferry crossings: The Gran Turismo Veloce: Outside the Alfa Garage.. Famous in Norway On the ferry from Hellesylt to Geiranger: Geiranger: Don't look at me, but the road in the background: Another GT Alfa on the ferry: Stop to glance at some "Alpakkas"

Have to get the car ready for track day on the 11th of september! On with the 17" wheels and a Busso specialist will control and adjust inlet and exhaust valves for me next week. Oil changed last month and brakes. Need to fit new rear pads as well, but they are already waiting in my garage.

Seem to be true... Or at least the majority of petrolheads in Scandinavia...

By the way, new Mtec discs were fitted before my weekend trip to Stavanger in July. Cheap, and very good discs so far! Together with tar-ox pads (that is more expencive than the discs ) it works really good! Mtec, go for it! Brembo, throw it!
-
Yap. Did not go there this time though. Next year maybe
-
Nice to see another Nero 601 99 mod. One of only 47 made this year, so take care of her. Mine is exact the same, built in 99 too
-
So, I'm ready for the last long trip this year (most likely). 1200km roundtrip from Tønsberg to Ålesund. I will have a lot of mounain passes including some of these: I promise some spectacular photos if the conditions are good! But with the GTV as main motive See you in a week!
-
Thank you for sorting this out Butt Head and Joris!
