  1. Gbinsb - GTV V6 TB project

So now you use bigger pulley for power steering pump i.e. less rpm of it per same engine rpm, right? That big 16G compressor wheel is significantly bigger in size than original one looking at dimensions, which you provide. TD05 turbine wheel also must be bigger than original TB25. After quick search I found some wheel dimensions for TD05H 49/55,6mm and for T25 41,7/53mm (exducer/inducer), but not sure if they are representative and accurate for particular turbos here. Earlier 164 TB with Mitsubishi TD05H-12B must drive very differently from later ones with Garrett TB2538
  2. Gbinsb - GTV V6 TB project

This is really a good update to be read , especially from performance fanatic perspective ! Everything look very clean, not only the engine and car . Why did you delete the AC ? For me personally, AC is one of the most significant option a car can have (speaking from point of almost all my driving experience done in warm months in non-working AC environment ). I associate intentional AC delete with very seriously modified car likely intended for racing. On my other car, which have been very seriously modified, I insisted on restoring of AC system, which have missed and cut parts. I see also likely aftermarket wastegate actuator, blow-off valve and oil cooler What is intercooler's core size? What is this clutch? It is just stronger pressure plate or something more special? TD05 from earlier 164 TB I guess? Do you know 16G compressor wheel dimensions? I prefer upgrading with something more modern, but that is much easier, if you source everything needed from 164 TB. I wish you sooner completion and waiting for updates and impressions
  3. I'm selling two APEXi AVC-R (AVCR) electronic boost controllers, which I have bought second hand some time ago, but did not reach the point to use them... Main features are: two boost modes + OFF mode (boost regulated by wastegate spring) boost by gear boost by rpm with 500rpm intervals scramble boost with additional switch/button - temporary boost setting three modes of data presentation - analog, digital and graphical Below one is modified in such way that cable to get out at the back of control unit instead of original at right side. Price for it is 220 euro. Other one which you can see below have also original package. Price for it is 250 euro
  4. I was on a business trip in Norway recently and with alfaduden organize one small meeting there :). And to be Italian theme complete we visited one Italian restaurant. The travel was a little bit more than expected , but this way I see more from Norway :). Here is a couple of pictures with his beautiful alfa. Was really nice meeting and I glad to meet you in person .
  5. Prices reduction: 170€ for 1st and 190€ for 2nd one with box.
  6. GTV V6 TB aka Shewolf

Interesting car for sure . Good luck with it! How much hp is it? That reminds me something, which I have seen these days -> Just a joke
  7. GTV 2.0 Twin Spark Turbo

Interesting project . You have mentioned Megasquirt ECU, but strangely I see MAF in one picture. Generally when is going to aftermarket ECU is used "speed density" air measurement principle with MAP sensor. I don't see open air filter in engine bay, is standard box with panel filter used on it? Can you give us some more details about setup like turbo, exhaust, blow-off valve, injectors, fuel pump, fuel pressure regular. Standard engine unopened or overhauled? Still on 0.5bar?
  8. GTV TB: GT2560R & FMIC upgrade

Is the fuel pump original one? If yes, its performance probably have been degraded since new.
  9. GTV TB: GT2560R & FMIC upgrade

What is max boost now? The last value, which you have mentioned is 1.2bar with boost solenoid connected. Do you still use original ECU? You have mentioned about changing to Megasquirt II.
  10. New prices - 190 euro for 1st showed above controller and 220 euro for 2nd one with box.
  11. Big Power GTV 16V Turbo!

I will get ahead of the owner and will post it in his topic It is pleasant surprise to see one of the most powerful GTV in youtube channel among many very serious tuned cars, good review .
  12. My new performance car

As I have mentioned in the topic for my GTV, there will have some big surprise from me soon. Which will be the main reason for delaying of the performance project for the GTV. And I decided to start a new topic about it, instead of writing in the topic for the GTV . And here it is Alfa Romeo 155 Q4 widebody. And here is the production numbers of 155 (referring to Wikipedia). 155 Q4 is really rare car and the widebody (facelift) models even rarer And I have seen pictures of only one other blue Q4 (link, someone from Hungary may know this car and his owner). The car is from Denmark and previous owner have owned it from around 8 years, so someone from Denmark may know the car and owner (he and his family are big fans of old italian cars ). So now I have justified my signature .
  13. Zoe Yellow Spider

Nice group and trip ! Did you drove at Nurburgring? I forgot to reply about pads above. These pads on the picture are "17Z" ones, so "right" pads for these calipers. I'm also with 17Z pads on mine 17Z calipers, but on my setup there is much free/unused area of inside of disc as calipers are a little bit outside of disc and 17Z pads are short. With disc a little bit bigger than 330mm will be better match on my car, but don't see such off the shelf with 330x32mm and close to current offset. So when I change the pads next time I will use 18Z pads, because they are higher.
  14. I'm selling Forge Motorsport universal intercooler with core dimension of 625x180x80 mm. SOLD
  15. I'm selling unused Garrett GT2860RS/GT28RS turbocharger with bigger turbine housing - T25 0.86 A/R. This is also known as Disco Potato . It was bought for a project some years ago. Also included are fitting kit and flanges for turbine housing. SOLD
  16. Big Power GTV 16V Turbo!

This sound interesting. There is kevlar clutch/es for this model on the market already. How this compare to them? Can it handle such torque on 4WD?
  17. Big Power GTV 16V Turbo!

Quaife differential is not showed for Coupe, but can be fitted for Alfa V6 with some modifications - other axle half shaft, differential housing from other italian cars from same period from what I remember hear and read, but don't know with details. There is some Coupes with this mod. I see that the car have high torque and look as a street car, so what clutch did you use?
  18. I have one pair of Brembo 18Z 6 pistons (18ZL and 18ZR) brake calipers, which sit from some time and don't see to use them in the future. These calipers are used originally on Audi Q7, Porsche Cayenne, VW Touareg with discs of size 350x34 mm in wheels 18" and bigger, from where their name came. Pistons size are 30/34/38. They are aluminium monoblock, so are solid and not so heavy for its size. They are complete with all pins and clips and come with 18Z pads, which was very little used and. These calipers can also be used with 17Z pads, which a little lower. They have been sandblasted and custom painted with vinyl stickers and haven't been used after that. Around the brake lines probe the paint is fallen, because of some remaining brake fluid and not closed holes. Here is some actual pictures: Price is 400E + shipping. These calipers are really big and their pads respectively also, so to get an idea will add also some pictures from Internet as example (not mine)
  19. Zoe Yellow Spider

Congratulation for the brake upgrade Which pads did you use, for 17Z or 18Z? Pads are interchangeable between them, 18Z being a little higher. 305 and 330 brembos use different pads. On 330 are bigger and similar as on 166's brembo. These on above picture look like GTA 330/166 pads 305 brembo pads 330 brembo pads
  20. Brembo 18Z 6 pistons brake calipers

    New price 360E + shipping
  21. GTV TB: GT2560R & FMIC upgrade

In my opinion intercooler with such size (as on Carlo's car) is ok for such project and for sure not too big (it is probably closer to be small, than to be big) and fit just fine as can be seen. Also the turbo is efficient one and probably will be used moderate boost. @Carlo Did you have air conditioner? Does this intercooler setup require bumper cutting (but this is related to first question also)? @Thanos Such twin pass design intercooler is not very good. Also in this case is not achieved big benefit from using of intercooler with in and out from same side for shorter and straighter piping, mainly for that between turbo and intercooler. The best design for lowest pressure drop and highest flow capability is with big internal flow area (where charged air goes). Such is achieved for example with design with vertical flow (where in/out are at top/bottom) and with such can be reduced piping and lag respectively. But a horizontal flow intercooler with its long channels there should be higher temperature drop (and higher pressure drop). So some balance have to be made in respect to available space.
  22. GTV TB: GT2560R & FMIC upgrade

That is a good news . And how it feel and what is current state?
