Those are some serious upgrades! Great! Keep us posted as your project advances...
-
I am looking forward to hear that! My setup is very loud so I just can image this...
-
Wooow! This is great! P.S. I can already say that the next photo competition will be a killer!
-
I hope we'll meet soon in Rijeka, I am very curious about the sound!
-
Affirmative! Car park/garage theme. And count me out!
-
Incredible work! Thanks for posting!
-
I love it! And nothing wrong with a whorehouse...

I love car park/garage theme, so that can be next competition. It's not because Charlee has a great series of shots in garage and I can't wait to see his favourite photo, but because in general you can achieve some very interesting lightning conditions in closed and yet very well lit space as car parks, garages and shopping mall spaces. They look urban and clean and GTV is an urban car perfect for such session. Anyone should find some garage space with ease and I expect those photos to be really great! Also, here are some ideas for future competitions: GTV and modern architecture, GTV and classic architecture, by a road in nature, industrial backdrop, macro shots (details), GTV and people, on a racetrack, old GTV vs new GTV...
-
No, problem, I'll excuse myself for the next one, sit back and enjoy!
-
Thank you very much! It was a pleasure and I am looking forward to the next one, there are quite a few exquisite GTVs in our garage and they scream for a photo session!

Over 250,000 km!!! Great! I think you are a winner here with that milage! About cost - 25k EUR is not that much considering all the years and your milage. I keep an evidence of my ownership cost and now I am at whopping 38,930 EUR. However, that includes the car itself (it was 5 years old when I bought it) and all service, upgrades and insurance too. So, it's not that much. I'll do it again, I have no regrets.

Superb photos, but you have one small but immensely irritable problem! Do you know what really bothers me on those photos? The registration plate with that stupid Croatian way to write 4-digit numbers! Art they nuts, drunk or blind? Why they can't center it?! P.S. Those photos are now the new benchmark for our next photo competition!

In many photo competitions the problem is what is really voted for - a photography for its artistic value, or object on a photo, or all the efforts that someone has gone through to shoot a scene. For artistic feel I'd voted for yellow Spider in the field of yellow flowers as it's very simple and clean image (a bit too dark at the bottom), as object, that's easy for me - ToxyMatt is perfect for my taste and I looooveee Siennas. And the composition of 5 Alfas with GTV P3 leading the pack is certainly something you can't shoot any day, so my credit goes there this time. I hope we'll have such competitions on regular basis as I really enjoy seeing all the great photos around the world!
-
I was indecisive between Toxy and ALXege, but finally I choose the composition of Alfas (even if it has far too much artificial contrast).
-
Argghhh... I was so busy this month, maybe I can find something in my archive that was not used yet...
-
This photo should be used in some car quiz!
-
Sounds like fun! I hope I'll be there with at least one Alfa! That's interesting... many of my friends own two Alfas, that's kind of normal I guess?
-
I agree that 8c driver was not pushing it, but it's fun to see that GTV with a great driver is a formidable opponent. The following one is one of my favorites, GTV vs 355:
-
Wow! Apart from 916s I love that racing 155 and of course 8c! Great photos, thanks!
-
A roomy garage?! You are kidding? One day I'll move to Rhodos so that I can park in your "only the good taste cars" showroom!
