Great job! Looking forward to see that live!

And here is the update on my wife's 156 Sportwagon: the original Alfa Sport-pack setup with deeper columns and 17" wheels:
-
Great photos Toshko!
-
Beautiful cars and you had a nice sunny day too! Wish I could be there!
-
Hi James! CH is a great wheel... welcome of course!
-
Thanks Joris! The main advantage of such large disks is that it's impossible to overheat them on the road, and it's hard to do it even on the track. Also, as the callipers are on the longer arms, they seem to be more efficient so I felt there is no need to go for more powerful six pot brakes. As the disks are grooved and drilled the brakes are loud (you can hear wuuussshhh sound) and that is something I especially love as it's easier to drive when you have sound feedback from the brakes. Thanks to the light alloy centre piece the disks are not so much heavier than the original setup. Light alloy is quite fragile and during years I had to replace one dish as it cracked on several places after I got pads stuck because of rust on disks after some rain and a week of non-use. 19" wheels are must with such setup as 18" usually doesn't fit. Some 18" does fit (OZ Crono for example) but there is just 1 mm between the calliper and the wheel and I felt very uncomfortable with that (even a small stone between could do a lot of damage).

One more in "Rosso su rosso" series... It seems that our GTVs are beautiful from just about every angle! It's really hard to make a bad photo of 916!
-
I don't want to go any lower than this, it's on the edge of being usable and there are still many situations when I have to get out of the car to check the clearance.
-
Joris, don't listen to them, 19" is the choice!
-
Great, thanks Tomi for the photos!
-
And here is my wheels upgrade on my 156 daily driver..
-
Mmmmm nice! How does it feel after nimble GTV?
-
I like the next one even more. At first I thought that the red wall behind will be a problem (it's a Kika store in Rijeka), but at the end it turned out as a great backdrop!
-
I've noticed the Parrot too! I think that the reason is because of its clean dashboard design, nothing else.
-
Nice to hear that you are still in Alfa flock. And of course, point the new owner at Squadra 916! (end post some Brera photos when you get a chance!)
-
Good commerical, but I think they should use some BMW or Merc for this kind of mobsters, Alfa is for nice people!
-
Big Dog! Good to have you here! Welcome and join our discussions!

Ace pictures Toxy! Thank you!
