I was in Berlin from August 19th to 25th. I saw one silver spider in Potsdam and a black spider with black steel wheels in Berlin. P1 or P2. Both looked neglected and unloved. Very sad!

I repaired the drivers bolster - very willing to advise how if you are interested

Hi Thanos, This book (when available) might have the information you are looking for. Could be a must have book for every 916 enthusiast. http://www.amazon.com/Alfa-Romeo-916-GTV-Spider/dp/1847973965 Some more info here. http://www.alfa-models.com/index.php?option=com_virtuemart&page=shop.browse&category_id=41&Itemid=98&TreeId=15〈=en http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Alfa_Romeo_GTV_%26_Spider I have no idea how acurate these figures are and I am guessing you will have already checked out these sites. Good luck with your search. Colcam

Hi Deano. The Zoe Yellow looks good on the Spider. A rare colour here in Australia. Nice wheels too. Cheers.
-
Thank you. I will look into it. There is definitely room for improvement with the brakes. Cheers

Nice mods mate! The Spider "In motion" pics are awesome, looks like you are in Sydney? A couple of questions if I may----I have heard that the strut bar does improve the handling. Can you tell me, where did you get it from and how much? Did the brake upgrade improve the spongy peddle? The paint job on the rear bumper looks great! Cheers Colcam

Welcome Nikos. The V6 24v is a very nice engine. Do you have good roads on Rodos to enjoy your GTV?
-
Hello Davidek, Very nice Spider! Is that a small spoiler on the boot lid? Cheers
-
Yes, Welcome Toshko,, I also like your pictures. Very good photgraphy.

Hi Mark and welcome, I hope that you have as much "fun in the sun" in your Spider as I do in mine here in sunny Australia though it is winter here we are enjoying some sunny seventeen degrees C. days. Today I finished construction and fitting of a wind deflector ------photos attached ---- Wow! It makes a huge difference. Cheers, Col

Hi Charlee, So little time (and money) and so many beautiful places to visit, so we won't be able to visit Croatia on this trip. At Christmas time 2007 we did a quick trip from Budoia in Italy to Croatia. We stopped at Porec for lunch, stayed the night in Rovinj, the next day went to Pula, had lunch at a wonderful seafood restaurant and visited the coloseum before driving back to Budoia. Yes, a very short visit to Croatia but we now Know how beautiful it is. Cheers.

Thank you Roberto for that information. My trip has been delayed until August and September. I will be travelling from Berlin to Prague to Austria and Slovenia to Italy. I will be staying one night in Ljubljana so will look for Alfa Romeo merchandise along the way. I looked at Cividale del Friuli on the net; it looks like a beautiful and interesting town. Good luck and have an enjoyable trip. Regards,

Hi Roberto, You have a very nice GTV and a very interesting website, but I can't read Italian very well. My daughter and her husband live in Budoia (Aviano) and my wife and I will be visiting in July. Can I buy small Alfa Romeo accessories or merchandise like key ring and tee shirts and hats near Budoia? Maybe Pordenone or Udine or Traviso. Do Alfa Romeo car dealers sell them or are there shops that sell Alfa Romeo accessories and merchandise? Hope you can answer my questions. Best regards,. Colin (colcam) Australia.

Hello. I have just become the proud owner of a 2002 3.0Litre V6 24V 916 Spider. Dark Blue with Red leather interior it has only travelled 58,000 kms. The V6 is so smooth and free reving. It is beautifully matched to the slick 6 speed gearbox. It took some time to find a V6 Spider -------- I wonder how many V6 Spiders are in Asutralia.

As mint as a ten year old car can be ----- it has obviously been lovingly cared for ------ never been off the tar or in the rain, apparently. Will get onto the Aussie site soon, work gets in the way of a good time, but it does pay the bills and buy the fuel for the Spider. Regards

Hi Allen, I've got some plates on that car. Bought the car in Queensland and had to change over registration to New South Wales (we are hanging onto the Colony mentality) I can now soak up some chilly winter Aussie sun ----- looking forward to some warm spring days --- car needs a wind deflector, sadly not available in Australia, any ideas?

Thank you for the welcome message Paso. Pictures posted and more to come.
