  4. Turbo Brutale

I do not think your Brembo discs give up in such a way so I think a new bed-in is a good attempt to solve the problem (no guarantees, however). Biltema is a savior. .......................... And you have not done enough before you want to leave the car as it smell ass.

Maybe you need to get the brakes to bed-in again after the car has been standing over winter (new transfer of brake pad material to the brake discs), find an empty road and do some hard braking/ heating cycles (until the brakes stink) but don't rest on the brake pedal if you make a full stop and see if it helps.

  16. Cheapest I could find of decent quality, you need to move over your old 1st cylinder detection sensor to the new 1st cylinder ignition cable. If I remember correctly, I paid ~ 85 EUR including shipping a few years ago when I bought them. http://www.performanceleads.co.uk/ShowDetails.asp?id=142&code=FLA297

Hi Filip plumber man, you should be able to use the same diagnostic procedure with flash codes that are used on the Alfa 145 2E ABS unit on your 2Si ABS unit. Just to find connector T8 (blue/white wire I think) and earth it to make diagnosis, to reset the ABS ECU disconnect T8 and engage the ignition switch 20 times. ABS_Bosch2E_2Si.pdf

  24. My third 916 : Spider 2.0 V6 TB

Q2 and Quaife LSD are built around gears and do not need a special LSD oil with LS additives (though it probably won't hurt) like a clutch/plate type LSD does, so normal gear lube API GL-4/5 is sufficient.
  25. My third 916 : Spider 2.0 V6 TB

My viewpoint is that the gear cogs probably say thank you to the thicker oil but the synchromesh may have trouble to keep up, so that the gearchanges not work so good as they can. I use a fully synthetic SAE 75-90 API GL-4/5 oil and it works well.
