I think so. As for restoration, the original one is the best on visual. I keep searching it on second hands markets in Japan and ebay. My friend said he want to see new badges on his hands and try it for the day that there is no original badges in the markets. Fortunately, new badges are available on Japanese dealer. I don't know whether the new one is suitable on rear view of 916 spider, or not. But, for your information, once I get a photo of his car, I'll share it on this forums. Thks.

kunev, thank you very much for your reply!! As you said, it seems that almost all the suppliers replaced the stock parts from 916 spider to later spider. I'll check it with alfaworkshop.uk. If there is no stock, I try later model badges. These days, important parts under the bonnet are delisted little by little... I hope our both 916 live longer. Thanks again!!
