That is cheap at £462 !!
I wonder if the fittings are included? Your looking at another 2/300€ for these if not.
And finding these. is not so easy. Most people leave the fittings in the car.

Welcome. You have an amazing collection. Some good roads you have on the islands. Enjoy the forum.

560 euro's. That is a steal!

Very very nice! This color combination is great, classy and serene. Also, I really love the refurbished rear suspension! The only detail I found that can be better is rear end badges clutter. Probably the most elegant solution would be to completely remove "3.0 V6 24V" and just reposition "Q2". IMHO that's more then enough info for any true Alfa admirer!
I could not agree more. I thought the same. Luckily you typed it ;-)

She used to be yellow, still visible under the bonnet.
Leave it this way? Or paint it?

What a cool line up of parts. This will turn out to be a great Cup. I like your attention to detail.
2 thumbs for you

I like the Saab, but the steering wheel is on the wrong side.
It seems that in the UK this was once the best selling convertible. They seem dirt cheap in the UK.

I have taken a step, just outside my comfort zone. She is evil, and mean. I found this Saab 900 on the internet, looking for a fun car.
She is a 2.3t and upgraded by Hirsch. She kicks out a healthy 309 bhp ( on the front wheels )
Bigger brakes, full Hirsch exhaust, Hirsch wheels, a Stinger DSI, Climate control and leather/heated seats. This for the sum of 2950 euro's.
It seems that the 2.3t can handle more power. So watch this space.

It is a classic combination, that does not work well on every car. Here it works perfectly. Thanks for sharing.

I thought that Facebook was on his return anyway. Twitter seems to be better. To me it is all a huge time consumer I will rather pass on.

What a sexy color combo. Stylish. Top it off with some great Teledials. I am in love!

7XL? That can also be used as a car cover I guess. Only joking!

No washers!Congrats, EvoMan! Sounds like a keeper
Anyway,
Just wait and see. The solution brought to me this morning is so cool, you all want it when you see it.
When I unpack the box, I will explain further. It is so simple! The washer stalks will come up to be at the right angle. When it is finished, it will look like it came from the factory this way.
I will not ruin my bumper with holes if I am not convinced it can be done in a high finish way.

About those headlight washers. I presume you want to use the nozzles from BMW e39 series? Those nozzles are small and they don't retract, which makes them easy to install. But, Im not sure that you can adjust the spraying angle so that the water cay spray directly on the headlights.I have thought the same. The angle of the spray should be just about right. Off course it needs to be functional, but also because it is cool.

Red rocks!

Sure, I like the Milano's. The trouble is, I have bought the VW seats. Both seats have to be re upholstered to match my taste. I like the unknown, and no one has fitted VW seats yet ;-)
Another thing is, I want the rear of the seats ( the " backplate" ) painted in Alfa Rosso. This to brighten up the dark interior.
Thanks for pointing the seats out though. If I knew 3 days ago, I would probably have bought them.

Welcome to this international community. Enjoy your Spider!

Tasty! One of my favorite combinations. Grey and red.
-
Off course the Alfa logo will be present. They are heavy. Built German style. You can find these on several online auction sites. I want the inner seat parts to be in the original style, to match the rear seats. They should look like the belong in the car.
-
These are the seats I am talking about. They should fit on to the Alfa rail system. They can fold to the front, for a 2 door car.
To many of you it might be horror, fitting VW seats in a GTV.

I will also attempt to make headlight washers. It seems that if you order the complete system from the BMW 5 series, you can make this
work. The nozzles are also small and discrete. They can be found at breakers yards in huge numbers, so if I can get a complete set for peanuts, I will have a go. The nozzles will be bumper mounted, so it looks easy enough.
Today I will wrap some tasty Pirelli rubber on the 18 Inch Sienna's. I love the shiny ring around the wheels. I did not have this on my Spider, now I have the high gloss outer ring.
The centre console will be with red " Alfa Romeo" writing. To match the exterior. Once again I will fit a Parrot Asteroid.
I am waiting for a quote on the exhaust. I found a guy in Belgium that is very helpfull and full of knowledge.
My hands are itching. Sitting at home, not working on my car drives me crazy. I want it finished....today.

I missed this introduction. Shame on me. Welcome and enjoy the forum.

I love the Maserati. Such a cool car.
-
PHOTOS........?!I will bombard you with pictures. It was delivered by truck and now in storage, so no real photo opportunity yet.
Now it is just a red GTV, when the modifications start. That is when all the fun begins.

I think Wiesmann was on the verge of going bankrupt. I have to check. I think it will get harder in future, so always check of the hardtop is complete with fittings.
