Yepp, I changed mine too.
You should have your own Spider there ;-)
Have you found anything decent yet?

You are not alone there Charlee, I think the 159 Ti wheels and the five spokes from the GT Blackline look much better.
Funny. This weekend I will fit dark TI wheels on my 939 spider and drop it on its belly.

Wow thanks for the big compliments guys!
On the Dutch forum they are not that enthousiast about the "black on black" combo.
Whil check meassurements tommorow!
Tires are 225 40 18 wich is common size for 18"
Didn't need spacers at the front but used 12mm at the rear.
Black on black would not suit your spider. It is black and grey. That looks amazing.
I don't understand, when I fit spacers at the back, the tires rub like mad.

Ultra cool pictures. I like the wheels!

I have seen these GT wheels for sale on the interweb. I am curious how they look.

@EvoMan, well I think you'll be as welcome in that diesel train as in your beautiful 916 Spider!
Yesterday I went from Rotterdam to Le Havre in France. The diesel Spider was actually very comfortable. Because of the rain, sadly with the top down. It starts to grow on me. Often you need a good long trip to fully appreciate a car to the fullest.

No thanks guys. Apart from some design issues ( headlights ) it is mainly the price that bothers me. 60K in the Netherlands. I think Alfa should focus on bread and butter cars. Where is the 159 replacement? The Mito and Guilietta are also not that fresh anymore. Alfa should focus on the fundamentals, before you introduce something like a 4C.
I remember the time of the 147, 156, 166, GTV and Spider.....Every corporate driver wanted a 156.
I am sorry to say, that I do not see this happening in the near future. Rebadged Dodge's and Chryslers will be the future.
That is why I love my Spider and Delta. Even the newer Spider suffers from lack of passion. I will even go as far as, the worst car I have ever bought.

That is one pretty GTV. Thumbs up!

Can I join with the Spider diesel? Would not mind to drive some serious miles in that. Maybe you only want 916's there

Great pictures. It was a lovely day. I took the Delta out for the last time this year. Now it is time for a long winter sleep. You should have headed for Rotterdam ;-) Red and Black makes great pictures.

The code for the solid yellow is 258A, indeed a special edition color.

If you want these wheels to be special? Keep the shiny outer rim, powder coat the inside slightly darker.

Charlee, are these still available? Kind of fancy them.

Can I say that these look better then your other wheels? The perfect Spider just got even better!

There is no medicine for this disease. What helps is to buy more Alfa's. Welcome to the forum. Feel free to share some picture's.

I have seen the green on that car. Not my taste. It looks darker and greener. Thanks for the additions.

It is not to my liking yet. The contrast with the white paint is to big. I wanted a carbon insert, but the carbon does not suit the white. So now I have an expensive carbon insert that looks terrible. Sometimes things do not work out as planned.
I found the right side panels this weekend. I would really like a Zender front spoiler. The car will not be done until spring 2014. I can post some pictures if you like, but I would rather show the finished product.

Any news on the hunt for a suitable car? Have you made the choice between engines yet?
Cheers

You can pick up real deal TI wheels for not to much money. In Gunmetal, they will look mean on your Spider.
