  1. Evoman's GTV 3.0 V6 24v ( 2001 )

Off course the Alfa logo will be present. They are heavy. Built German style. You can find these on several online auction sites. I want the inner seat parts to be in the original style, to match the rear seats. They should look like the belong in the car.
  2. Evoman's GTV 3.0 V6 24v ( 2001 )

These are the seats I am talking about. They should fit on to the Alfa rail system. They can fold to the front, for a 2 door car. To many of you it might be horror, fitting VW seats in a GTV. http://nl.tinypic.com/r/29bj3iv/5 I will also attempt to make headlight washers. It seems that if you order the complete system from the BMW 5 series, you can make this work. The nozzles are also small and discrete. They can be found at breakers yards in huge numbers, so if I can get a complete set for peanuts, I will have a go. The nozzles will be bumper mounted, so it looks easy enough. Today I will wrap some tasty Pirelli rubber on the 18 Inch Sienna's. I love the shiny ring around the wheels. I did not have this on my Spider, now I have the high gloss outer ring. The centre console will be with red " Alfa Romeo" writing. To match the exterior. Once again I will fit a Parrot Asteroid. I am waiting for a quote on the exhaust. I found a guy in Belgium that is very helpfull and full of knowledge. My hands are itching. Sitting at home, not working on my car drives me crazy. I want it finished....today.
  3. Should probably introduce myself

I missed this introduction. Shame on me. Welcome and enjoy the forum.
  4. Gtv Cup 2.0 TS Rosso Alfa nr.038

I love the Maserati. Such a cool car.
  5. Evoman's GTV 3.0 V6 24v ( 2001 )

I will bombard you with pictures. It was delivered by truck and now in storage, so no real photo opportunity yet. Now it is just a red GTV, when the modifications start. That is when all the fun begins.
  6. Evoman's GTV 3.0 V6 24v ( 2001 )

True, it picks up faster but is out of breath faster. I need to trash the pants out of it soon. Then you will receive some useful info.
  7. Evoman's GTV 3.0 V6 24v ( 2001 )

The title of the topic is a bit of a give away ;-) 3.0 24v , much smoother then the 12v. I have to drive it a bit harder to see what the exact difference is. The 12v seems to have more of an attitude.
  8. Evoman's Spider 3.0 12v 1998

Off course I have been around for a while, but I have never properly introduced my car. This 1998 V6 was bought for parts and it was never my intention to keep it. Over time this V6 grew on my, and I could not take it apart. It has a real character,I the morning it is a little grumpy and it takes some warming up before she likes to work for you. In the last few months I have invested huge amounts of money to keep her in tip top shape. Something that has not gone down here in the household. Until my partner drove the car and she understands the situation and the car now. Now, she runs like a Spider V6 should and she has proven to be very reliable. I was planning on storing her for the winter, but my garage is getting a bit short on space. My Alfa 75 needs to be inside, so the Spider needs to be parked outside. After taking some measurements, If I take out the workbench, I can squeeze in the 75 and the Spider. But I like to drink my morning coffee, looking at the 75. Although she carries a hefty petrol fragrance. To make a long story short, my V6 is from 1998, has done 250k and is Alfa Nero with a Red Style interior. She is equipped with a full Zender exhaust, 17 Inch Zender Sienna wheels and since last weekend, she has a Wiesmann hardtop. Possibly the best buy ever! This makes the Spider winter proof, I now have rear window heating and it is so quiet in the cabin. Today I have taken the Spider on a long trip, because the 939 needed a service. Very comfortable and the fuel economy surprised me. I needed to stop for some inner fuel, not for petrol ;-) The car is tidy enough for my taste, I have only a few modifications to do to make her my dream Spider. In the coming months, the 75 will get my attention so my other Spider needs to wait for a while. There is no room for a mistress ;-) The wheels have been refurbished, I want to get an Alcantara ventre console with red stitching and make the centre console ( the silver part ) piano lacquer black with a red Alfa Romeo logo. I want to do a brake upgrade with red calipers and then she is finished. I will keep you updated over the coming months.
  9. Evoman's Spider 3.0 12v 1998

New topic is coming up soon. New car is a new topic. This will actually not be my car. My other half will be driving it to work. In the weekend I will confiscate it.
  10. Evoman's Spider 3.0 12v 1998

This is a Ph2. 1998 was the year that Ph2 was introduced. Phase 1 never had the red style and did not have climate control. And some other details, like fully color coded bumpers and side skirts. Production date November 1998.
  11. Evoman's Spider 3.0 12v 1998

Yes sir. I could not resist.
  12. Evoman's Spider 3.0 12v 1998

We now have a serious buyer. I am kind of happy, because I have just seen my painted cup kit, ready to go on to the GTV. I am not fitting the wings, because I do not like them. A Cup minus the wings. A new suspension set up, new exhaust, 18 Inch Sienna's and she is done. Untill I think of the next modification. Tomorrow the GTV will undergo a test in order to apply for a Dutch registration number. Then within a week or so, the car has it's Dutch plates en the fun begins! I will keep you updated.
  13. Lancia Thema 8.32 for sale

I found this Lancia Thema 8.32 for sale in the UK. A pretty rare color and combined with a great interior. The mileage, or km's are very low. 9495 GBP makes it about 11.300 in Euro's. Shipping and applying for a Dutch license will make is about 12500 all in. I have seen these sell for a lot more, I have also seen some very rough ones that really need to be scrapped. A Thema 8.32 in my eyes is the most understated saloon even made. I would love to own this, sadly my bank balance thinks otherwise. My 75 will not be ready in time, it will have sold by then. All I can do till then is dream. And what a wet dream it is. Go fetch ;-)
  14. I like your current wheels. The are the Ph.3 wheels. I would happily fit those under my Spider ( with a huge sence of pride actually ) Those 111-DC remind me of Lamborghini wheels. Sharp and edgy. What tyre set up are you thinking about? I would keep it black, the two tone does not fit the black theme so well. Black looks mean!
  15. newer silver white badge config 7

    Cool dog also!
  16. GTV CUP NO 131 (Rhd UK spec)

    Scrumptious!
  17. Evoman's Spider 3.0 12v 1998

I have had an offer to trade in a Clio 2.0 16v Renaultsport. The one with the new style headlights. 172 bhp I believe. Convert it to a track car. But then I commit to yet another project. Next please!
  18. GTV CUP NO 131 (Rhd UK spec)

I love the black paint with the red lettering. Red and black is also very tasty!
  19. Spaitalia 2014, 27 & 28 September

    You are welcome ;-)
  20. Spaitalia 2014, 27 & 28 September

I mean in that region. It surprises me that even 2 km into Wallonië they do not speak any foreign languages anymore. Off course on the track they do. I do not mind, I speak French. The event is very well organized and international.
  21. Spaitalia 2014, 27 & 28 September

I will subscribe to the thread. Where else do I get info for my Cup look alike? Iso Grifo. Italian body with a US engine. 7 liter engine. Also in a slightly tamer version. Such a great design. A lot of German's attend with some mean cars. Bring your French dictionary. In that part of Belgium they refuse to speak anything other then French. I guess they want to be French. But France does not want them ;-)
  22. Spaitalia 2014, 27 & 28 September

You will love it. Lambo's, Ferrari's, Alfa's, Lancia's and even rare stuff like Iso Grifo's. The track is so amazing. See you there Andy.
  23. Differences between 2.0 V6 TB and 3.0 V6 12V

I do not know the answer. But the thought of a 3.0 TB makes me smile from ear to ear.
  24. GTV 3.0 V6 24V Paso

This is such a nice GTV. I would love for my GTV to look like this.
  25. Evoman's Spider 3.0 12v 1998

The running temperature is 80-90 degrees. Even on long trips. So the scaling is correct. The fuel gauge also works fine, just before it hits the red, the light goes on.
