  6. Turbo Brutale

Breaking news !!! Filip and I have revealed the true story why ALFADUDEN sold his GTV TB. Sadly are we not allowed to tell the whole story, but it was not by free will he sold the TB, it's a bit doggy and involves a woman.......if we are nice to him and share some empathy on the poor lad maybe he with time after licking his wounds may shed light on what happened.

Maybe it's just a little fuel vapors collected in the charcoal canister, Alfa describes that the system is activated under certain engine load conditions but nothing on what those certain engine load conditions is, but I think that is when the engine is running and at low load.ECU controls the fuel vapour valve but it is the lambda that tells ECU what to do, if lambda senses a rich condition then ECU decreases fuel injection time (less fuel injected) and if lambda senses a lean condition then ECU closes (deactivate) fuel vapour valve.Maybe in the cold weather there is not much fuel vapours collected in the charcoal canister so when ECU purge charcoal canister (clean air is used) lambda senses a lean condition and ECU deactivate fuel vapour valve but the conditions for purging persists so fuel vapour valve is activated again and the cycle repeats itself again and again. Also things that sounds in a car has often a more pronounced sound in a cold car.
  8. Shit! I regret...

Non-German speaking but if my old school german serves me right then it means... steinschläge = stenskott (SE)/stone chips.

  12. Bremi Distributor Cap and Rotor

Ignition parts I've seen/used from Bremi have been of decent quality. It's a decent price for the kit.

So you managed to get to CPH in the storm, I thought that you was bouncing around on Skagerrak in some ferry the whole weekend, I had to take to Sweden for a few hours and when I should go back to Denmark so was all the possibilities for travel closed. I hope you had a good trip in CPH and we have to meet up for some beer another time when I'm not so busy.

Good, shall usually not be touched if no one has been on it before or the screw is worn. Have you checked the temp sensor?
  17. My GTV V6 TB

Just to be sure, have you done any adjustments on the screw that the arrows pointing on?
  18. My GTV V6 TB

True, it can sometimes be quite confusing.
  19. My GTV V6 TB

Skip the gaskets and use O-rings instead, ePer are lying.
  20. My GTV V6 TB

Do you use gaskets or O-rings to seal the intake pipes?
  21. My GTV V6 TB

To start with, try to wiggle the ICV to see if it is a problem with the intake plenum seal, also check air hoses that connects to intake plenum after the throttle valve incl. the 6 hoses between intake plenum and intake pipes. Check TPS so you have an "distinctive click" near fully open throttle and near closed throttle. A tired engine management temp sensor or lambda sensor can sometimes give a fault like this. Best of luck with your hunt.
  22. My GTV V6 TB

If it works do not mess with it... my idle is hunting like hell. When I disconnect the ICV it slightly raises the idle but it stops hunting. Could it be related to something else? Air leak? How much RPM max/min at idle?
  23. Here comes the greeting from Sweden

    I don't believe it !!
  24. Here comes the greeting from Sweden

Hi and welcome Johnny, don't take too much notice about the Biltema twit from the other guys...they are just jealous when they do not have Biltema.
