Welcome to the forum Edu.
Yes, it is a very nice colour.
Your English is very good, as is the English of all the participating members on the forum from "Non English" speaking countries.
Looking forward hearing more about your Spider and to seeing more photos.
Cheers

What Spirito says is spot on. Also consider organising a strut brace if your final choice isn't already fitted with one. It greatly improves the scuttle shake.
Welcome to Australia and yes, Sydney is a great city. Enjoy the sunshine.
Cheers.

Welcome Nasa. Nice GTV --------- The Black/Grey interior suits the Grigio Chiaro exterior very nicely.

The new logo looks great Charlee. The 916 has such a recognizable and iconic profile.

Thanks for your comments guys.
I know what your thinking Filip but it isn't a motor show in the true sense where manufacturers display there latest and greatest.
This is an opportunity for enthusiasts to show there cars to an admiring public who may never get the chance to attend the major motor shows in Sydney or Melbourne. This show is open to almost anything with an engine. Australia is a very small market for cars by world standards but, despite this, over the years we have had nearly every make represented on the market so there is always an interesting mix of cars on display---------American Muscle Cars------ Mustangs, Cameros, Corvettes. Many English and European makes------ Gull Wing Mercedes, Aston Martin. A model T Ford, Di Dion, Citroen 2CV. Drag Racers, Hot Rods, Speedway cars and many many more, including Police Highway Patrol Pursuit cars and bikes.
The Alfa Romeo brand in this country is admired and respected and is viewed by some as an exotic brand. Just recently, the distribution of Alfa Romeo in Australian has been taken over by Chrysler who have a strong dealer group.

I was very pleased to have been asked to enter my Spider in the Shannon's Country Classic Motor Show this weekend. Shannon's are an Australian auction and Insurance company specialising in classic and enthusiast cars and bikes.
It has created a lot of interest ------especially when the hood is raised to display the beautiful V6 engine.

Welcome Big Dog from a fellow Aussie 916 enthusiast. Do you have a preferred Alfa service centre in Sydney? Cheers.

Welcome, from another member from down under.

Very nice wheels. They do suit the 916

Welcome SIMLAZZ.
I enjoy the smooth power of the V6 and coupled to the six speed gearbox it is an awesome combination. Warning! It can be very thirsty on petrol but not really an issue if you are driving it for the sheer pleasure.
Black with red leather and carpet is perfect.
Cheers.

--------and I can relate to your excitement.
I have had my Spider for 6 months and I am still excited.
It has been said that there are only two good days of convertible ownership ---- the day you get it and the day you sell it ----don't believe it, every day is a great day in the Spider.

Welcome from down under.
You will find that the folk here really know their 916 stuff.
Cheers.

Thanks Thanos for the beautiful photos. It's great to see so many interesting and unique Alfa Romeos in one place. I really like the action shots.
