Hi All, GTV V6 owner

Hello all...

I am usually to be found over in the 916 section of Alfaowner but thought I would join up here for specific 916 chat, banter and mechanical knowhow!

I have a silver 2002 GTV V6 with 75k on the clock Aero pack and Lusso of course...refinements are

wizard manifolds

Quaife

SMF and GTA clutch

Alfaholics handling kit

Cybox catback exhaust

Koni STR.t with standard springs

shortshifter

pipercross filter

Ferodo DS2500 front pads

rear has been fully polybushed

In addition to the V6 I also have a 98PH1 GTV TS 2.0 known as ''greenie'' 70k miles and comletely standard and have also just bought a Zoe yellow spider with only 38k miles..currently having belts and a service at Autolusso Penrith as PO had not been able to drive it for a year, and a black PH1 TS GTV which is a resto project.

The V6 is my daily believe it or not ( I buy em to drive em) and has been utterly reliable during the first 5k I have put on her including a trip to Scotland and back..

looking forward to getting to know you all and attending some meets as and when I can geography permitting!

cheers

Joe

Hello Joe. Nice pics. I have a Phase 2 2000 V6 which has been remapped. Regazzon and carbon fibre air flow. I'm looking at upgrading on some mods prticulary the handling kit and Q2 but currently deliberating on a 330 brake upgrade. I haven't owned the car for about 4weeks since selling my TS and power is noticeable!

Hi Paul,

nice looking car, !

been thinking about a re-map myself but honestly mine goes so well I am not sure what gains are to be had...re the 330mm upgrade I wouldn't put it in front of the quaife and alfaholics kit, those two for me are first in line, in that order I would even put the SMF before the 330mm upgrade as it really does add to the reviness of the engine ...

I forgot to mention I also have braided hoses all round and race fluid, that along with the ferodo DS2500 pads has been enough to make the best of the 315mm Brembo's on there. My only real issue is cold performance, however once there is some heat in them they are really rather good...!
