Hello from Luxemburg

Hello all together
My name is Guy Rischard from Luxembourg 51 years old and since January 30 I am owner (meanwhile, a proud owner!!!!!!!) of a black 2001 Alfa Romeo Spider 3.0 V6 24v with 80250 Km, which I bought in Germany with Novitec exhaust system and Novitec lowering springs and original Teledial rims. Now I have mounted the cup kit and I'm going to mount  front and rear spacers. Ah yes, and I have to change the clutch too.

Normally I drive Renault (R19 16v from 1991 and Megane RS RB7 2013). This car I actually bought to give a pleasure to my girlfriend. She is Italian and she and her family only drives Alfa Romeo. Sie hat einen roten Alfa Romeo Giulietta 2011 1.4 170 hp.

But now after +- 1000 km and I personally like the car very well and it is very difficult to borrow her the car. The car is actually used only on weekends in good weather to make beautiful tours through Luxembourg and the surroundings.

Your other cars are also very interesting and sporty, especially the Megane RS!

Hello,

pleased to meet you! When it's time to change the clutch don't forget to fit also a Q2 or (better) a Quaife-LSD! Great to hear, that there are still Italians left who did not yet surrender to German automobile industry ;-).

Welcome!

How does the Spider feel like to drive compared to the Megane RS?

Edit: it's a Spider, not a GTV...

@Filip

There is a big difference. The Spider has more torque in the lower rpm range, the RS is better from 3500 -4000 rpm. Of course

the Spider is running  much quieter than the RS. But the suspension of the Spider is much harder than the RS, who is also lowered.

The RS ist for racing and the Spider for cruising

:D I know that GTV/Spider have very hard suspension, but much harder than very serious sport hatch which is lowered  :o .

What suspension setup have these cars?
