They are a German manufacturer and these springs are meant to be OE spec.

I'm aiming to get the car ready for the Spa meet in September  B)

What a cool line up of parts. This will turn out to be a great Cup. I like your attention to detail.

2 thumbs for you

I've booked the car in for 1 of Autolusso's full annual services plus a complete belt change next week. (This includes an air con re gas)

I have also asked them to fit the mocal oil cooler kit.

The clutch is fine and not slipping at all so this job can wait.

I will make a start on the suspension when the weather warms up. At least once the belts are done I can drive the car with confidence. More photos to follow.

Progress report !

I dropped the car off at Autolusso on Saturday. Here's a quote from Ned.

"We have Cup number 131 in for what we would call a mid life crisis

Engine out,
Belt, tensioner, idlers, cam cover gaskets
Plugs
Pump
Quaife
GTA clutch and flywheel
Radiator
Suspension arms
Shocks and springs

Etc, etc etc

Ned"

I've added some pictures from their workshop. I decided to get all the work done at their place as it was there.

More updates to follow as work continues.

are the parts and labour so cheap in the uk that you repair every thing in one go???

in the Netherlands you might almost close off a second mortgage to do all that.

No parts and labour don't come cheap here in the UK.

All the work that AL are carrying out + parts cost more or less the same as the price of the car !!

What can I say, when you're on a roll things go your way, I'm having a good start to the year ;)

I have a lot more planned to do on the car then what the good lads at Autolusso are carrying out (watch this space)

Ned is waiting for parts to come back from the powder coaters then his team can fit the engine back into the car.

Don't we own these cars because we love them and not because they are cheap to maintain ?

For the price I have paid for the car, parts and labour so far, you could buy a decent V6 in Europe. I guess you can say we're blessed in the UK  :P

I still have that s/s cat back system I'd like to try on the car. I'm unsure of the sound. It just needs modifying slightly and I will have it fitted over the next couple of weeks.

The cup is back with me in 1 piece, it drives beautifully. Today I pulled the spider out of the garage to be collected by my machine shop man. He has rebuilt another TS engine keeping the ballance shafts in this block. A picture of the 2 dirty girls. The other is 1 with cup 131 and my friends drift car.
