Hi from Denmark

Hi all,

Really good and active forum this.

Denmark has quite a lot of Alfisti and I was taken by accidentially bying a 145 1.8TS 15 years ago after riding bikes. Began running trackdays and fell in love. Then followed a 156 2.0TS. Started racing a 75 1.8 turbo in youngtimer also.

3 Kids came into the picture and I briefly strayed to a german 7 seater (Touran) and realised wath a major mistake that was. Quickly got into my current car, a 156 2.0 RST Lusso with all the bells and wistles. Also a Fiat Panda for the wife (trying to support the Italian economy so they keep producing all these wonderful cars ;) ).

But the urge for a GTV was always there and finally I found the right one. A beatiful ph2 V6 in Vela Blue and tan leather. Q2, Konis, Eibach, exhaust, GTA brakes and cams and lots more was carefully adopted into this car and it is an absolute joy to drive. Keeping the other cars to make this just a summer runner.

Hope to enjoy our common passion with all you dedicated people on here

Regards

Peter

Hi Peter,

welcome here. The exhaust system looks nice, without catalyst ;)

Are there no problems in Denmark with that?

Thanos: Its a standard steering wheel fitted with alcantara. Very nice gripwise. Lookswise not so good IMO. I have the original so can swop them...

Michael: The system is Alfaholics downpipes, decat and centersection. Standard rear box. Perfect sound and performance. Yes the cat needs to be in place if you follow the rules. But for the extra performance I run without and risk a fine. I mount it for the bi-annual tjeck though ;) I guess we all break a rule once in a while. Since its a CF2 engine there are no post cat lambdas so no problem with the ECU. Engine map is also adjusted for no cat by Squadra.
