'Official' GTV Cup List for UK V6 + European V6 and 2.0 TS

51 posts in this topic

UK Cup 128 has been bought by an AO member, ruby, & is now in Holland being converted to LHD as he couldn't find a European V6 Cup for sale.

That should confuse a few people.

 Didn't know this was possible !

I think it would have been cheaper to buy a LHD V6 and find a Cup kit no ?

Yes but that wouldn't make it a genuine Cup.

What is exacty needed to make the conversion?

Parts needed:

heater, steeringhousing, wippermotor, carpet, headlights, dash, wiring ...

The rhd panels 1, 2, 3 and 5 need to be replaced with lhd panels.

Cup 86 looks like a nice deal for some 1.....

I agree. 6600 euro's. What will a LHD conversion cost? Buy a LHD GTV for parts, sell the parts I do not need and let those parts pay for the conversion.

My partner wants a GTV, but she wants Zoe Yellow.

Well if its a zoe yellow gtv you want Clive is your man.

I think you could get the cup for under 5k if you have good negotiation skills.

Zoe Yellow , Zender Sienna's and a Cup kit. That would make a pretty cool GTV. Convert it to LHD.....food for thought.

On the other hand, that low mileage cup looks very clean. And a fair bit cheaper then Clive's yellow GTV.

Time to sleep on that thought.

List updated from the one on AO.

I'll try to check if I've missed any others from on here.

In future when posting 'new' Cups found, it would be helpful to indicate if UK or Euro(TS or V6) please.

Hello Everyone,

I've just purchased my first Alfa Romeo.  A GTV Cup number 083.  It needs a lot of TLC.  If any member could recommend a good specialist garage in London, Surrey or Gatwick areas, I'd be very grateful.  In the mean time please update the GTV Cup list with my details.

I look forward to meeting you all at various meets during the summer.

Kind regards to you all

about 3 weeks after I purchased her, Cup 138 is starting to look like she should.

I'm of the opinion that if I've gone to the trouble of paying the premium that the Cup brings then it should be as near as spot on and really look the part.

So, it's had a full respray, the wheels have been refinshed, the drivers seat has 2 new leather fillets stiched, the white speaker covers have been removed!!! and it's had a jolly good tidy up. Just the exhaust to sort now, I'm pretty sure I'm going to stick with factory fitted Zender quads and go with a custom straight through from cat. I keep worrying about the noise on the few long drives it will get, worth it for the rest of the time?

Some images, I'll post more of the interior when I'm home at the weekend.

      Cheers,
      Richard.

      Hello!

I've just done a deal on Cup 138 so thought it time to join the forum

I live out in Prague during the week which is where the car will be eventually based. I'm on my 2nd 916 V6 GTV which I'll be selling once I've got the Cup, it's been here in Prague for the last year.

Looking forward to getting my hands on the Cup, been after one for some time.

      Cheers,
      Richard.
