GTV "Cup look" by ToxyMaTT

201 posts in this topic

I bought my GTV 3 years ago.

I bought it in France, but it was an italian model, it spent the first 7 years of its life there !

It had 36.000km when I bought it, now it has 64.000km

It's a 2000 Rosso Red 3L V6, with black leather ... and some modifications :

- GTA wheels

- white side repetitors

- Ragazzon center silencer and Ragazzon rear tube

This is how it looked at this time :

Then, I lowered it (first with Koni shocks and Novitec Springs ... and finally, I changed for Bilstein B6 and Eibach spring, which a really much better setup for road use !)

For the look, I installed Zender pedals, and beautiful 18' Zender Siena wheels!!

And I modified the exhaust line with a decat and Novitec DTM Quad pipes (4x76mm) !!

Then, my 18' tyres were dead, so I installed my other wheels, Alfa 16' resprayed in black !

I bought them for track use ... And I exchanged my screws against gudgeons / nuts

Your GTV may well be the most photographed GTV there is !!!

Can you say where you are getting the red mats from ?

I LOVE your car! You obviously know what you are doing :)

The Sienas are one of my favorite wheels as well. I can just imagine how they would look in 19".

I said it before and I'll say it again. I want a red carpet! You stole my idea :happy0045: I want the black and red Edizione Sportiva look

If you see any for sale, please let me know!

Plans for 2012 ?

Hummm I have my Q2 at home, I'll settle it ASAP !

I'm planning to do a rolling road test, to see how many horses it has with all the changes on exhaust !

I won't do a remap, just the rolling road test !

I still have somehere in my head the crazy idea of changing the seats ...to mitigate the lack of side preservation of seats.

I wish I could install bucket seats, retrimed in same design as OEM seats ... But it costs a lot of money ...

I also love (as you Charlee :D ) Edizione sportiva seats, with the red stitchs !!

I almost bought one last year, but I lost the bid...

But no more other big modifications now ! I love the exterior, I love the music also, especially since I've installed my EL downpipes ...

So I'll just take pleasure to drive it ... again, and again

The rolling road test is a good idea.

I am pleased I did mine before the remap so that I could see the differences before and after.

That way if you do it and do more changes in the future you can easily see what is happening

Would be wonderful to see your car in real life.

I am heading to Rheims at the 27th April before heading back up to Belguim for Spa Italia.

Are you going to Spa ?

Nancy is not to far from Rheims I think.

Would be good to drive both cars around the old Grand prix circuit !!

Reims is 2 hours from Nancy, so not so far !

But ... I won't be at home in april, I'll be away for professional reason, in the west of France ...

A pity

If you want me to look after your car I will when you are away !!!!!

My son who is coming with me could drive it to Spa and have fun driving around the circuit

OK I hear you say NO already

I hope perhaps another time members can meet up

Meetings are good .

Perhaps in time this could happen.

Right now they are several meetings that I have and will visit in Holland and Belgium this year.

Perhaps members can meet up at these to start.

Eventually we could hold the annual SQUADRA 916 SPORTIVO meet

Hey guy,

How are you ??

Really bieautifull pics ... I like you 916 with his kit cup.

I've a question. Your Black wheels are used for winter or just for racetrack ?

In any way, very nice GTV and see you on sunday.

Have a nice evening

I bought my black wheels for track use ... but at the moment, I don't have tyres on my Sienas, so I drive every day with them ...

When tyres on my black wheels will be dead, I'll buy some race tyres, I'm thinking those :

I think it do look cool with my black wheels, but I prefer Sienas !

The advantage is I can have a GTV more "classy" or "racing" ...! :D
