Have a bit of a problem with my 1997 GTV 3.0 24V. After I shut down the engine, the cooling fans keep going until they drain the battery. At first, they kept going for about 5 minutes and then stop but now they just keep going. I replaced the relays I99 and I100 with new ones but still the problem continues. Does anybody have any ideas what else I should replace? The only way I can stop the fans from draining the battery is to disconnect the battery! Really appreciate any suggestions and possible fixes. Thanks.

Hello fellow 916 fans. As you may know, Alfa pulled out of the North American market in mid 90s. A few 146, etc still found their way into Canada. Since Canada allows cars 15 years or older to come in without too much hassle, I imported a LHD GTV from Japan. They are quite rare here and information is limited so I joined the Squadra916. This is my second Alfa. The other one that I own is a 1991 Spider Veloce. Now that Alfa is coming back to North America, I thought it would be great to have one of the best Alfa Romeos, namely the 916. Although it only has 45,000km, it does need a bit of TLC and I will post some pics as soon as I have it up to snuff. Murat
